In this interactive presentation, participants will explore practical strategies to enhance their wellness and effectively manage common life challenges. The session will focus on techniques for addressing burnout, improving emotional self-regulation, and resolving conflicts.

By engaging in hands-on exercises, participants will gain valuable skills that not only promote personal well-being but also increase their capacity to work collaboratively with communities and coalition members, fostering healthier, more productive relationships and a positive impact in their collective work.

OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

  1. Learn practical tools to address burnout, improve self-regulation, and manage conflicts effectively.
  2. Explore and practice powerful tools in the session, including techniques to cultivate positive thinking, mindfulness practices, and a communication strategy to strengthen relationships and resolve conflicts.
  3. Feel inspired and equipped to incorporate at least one tool into your daily life to promote long-term well-being.
FACILITATORS

Jen Hogge, LMFT, Community Prevention Strategist 

Ms. Hogge is a certified Communities That Care trainer and coach supporting communities in Utah and Oregon. Prior to joining SDRG in a coaching capacity she worked as a Regional Director, a County Coordinator and facilitated the development of four CTC coalitions in Northern Utah. She has experience providing CTC workshops and support to community leaders, coalitions and coalition coordinators. In addition, Ms. Hogge is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Level 1 Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Qualified Teacher within her private practice in Gig Harbor WA.
