SAMHSA has released a Funding Opportunity: Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success for Communities, Local Governments, Universities, Colleges, and Tribes/Tribal Organizations
The purpose of this program is to use the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), a community engagement model, to reduce the onset and progression of substance misuse by expanding and strengthening the capacity of local prevention and mental health providers delivering evidence-based prevention programs. In addition, this program requires a focus on underserved communities.
