CTC PLUS Coordinator Talk: Suicide Risk and Prevention: The Role for Schools and Communities

Join us December 5th at 11am PT.

This webinar will cover the important topic of youth suicidal behavior and the roles that school and communities can play in helping to reduce and prevent youth suicidal behavior. First, this presentation will examine and define the different components of suicidal behavior. Then, it will identify warning signs and risk factors that have been identified among youth who have engaged in suicidal behavior. Finally, this webinar will walk the participants through the LEARN model that can be implemented in both school and community environments.

This group offers CTC Coordinators/Facilitators a chance to share challenges and successes related to these shared experiences, so that all may learn and support one another. Zoom Video Conference is used to share documents and other visual information as participants talk. Calls are facilitated by experienced CTC Coordinators, or CTC Specialists from the Center for Communities That Care.
