Join us October 9th at 11am PT.
With new and emerging science on alcohol, cannabis/marijuana, and other drugs being released, coalitions provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between science and practice. Coalitions/communities can bring key stakeholders to the table, reduce barriers to disseminating best practices by raising awareness of “what works,” and help explore a mix of strategies as part of an overall prevention plan. During this presentation, Dr. Jason Kilmer will consider scientific findings with clear implications for communities and prevention, and will discuss the role coalitions and prevention organizations can play in impacting change.
If you have ideas or requests for future topics, please let us know by sending an email to the Center for CTC. This group offers CTC Coordinators/Facilitators a chance to share challenges and successes related to these shared experiences, so that all may learn and support one another. Zoom Video Conference is used to share documents and other visual information as participants talk. Calls are facilitated by experienced CTC Coordinators, or CTC Specialists from the Center for Communities That Care.
