SUMMARY:Social Development Strategy (SDS) Workshop
DESCRIPTION:What is the SDS?\n[caption id="attachment_7858" align="aligncen
 ter" width="502"] SDS Video[/caption]\nWho Should Attend\nThis live\, virt
 ual training series is designed to be delivered to Communities That Care (
 CTC) Coalition members\, who attend along with the CTC Facilitator (someti
 mes referred to as a CTC Coordinator or CTC Mobilizer). It is especially u
 seful for CTC Youth Involvement and CTC Community Board Maintenance Work G
 roup members but can be used for other CTC Coalition members as well. The 
 Workshop is also used for non-CTC communities who wish to train youth serv
 ing agency or school staff to utilize the Social Development Model in thei
 r work.\nTraining Information\nThe Workshop is interactive and includes pr
 esentations\, breakout room conversations\, and large group discussions. T
 o participate fully\, trainees are required to access to the internet via 
 a computer/laptop (not a mobile device or tablet) with a camera and microp
 hone. Participants must complete Day One prior to attending Day Two.\nTrai
 ning Objectives\nDay One November 13\, 2024 Noon – 3 pm EST\n\n 	Identif
 y the key components of the SDS\n 	Teach the SDS using story\n 	Provide a 
 personal story that illustrates the SDS\n\nDay Two November 20\, 2024 Noon
  – 3 pm EST\n\n 	Provide additional information about the components of 
 the SDS to enhance its practice\n 	Identify some of research base behind t
 he SDS\n 	Draft action plans for integrating the SDS into coalition functi
