SUMMARY:Communities That Care Training of Facilitators
DESCRIPTION:Who Should Attend\nThis live\, virtual training series is desig
 ned for identified Communities That Care Facilitators (i.e.\, sometimes ca
 lled CTC Coordinators or CTC Mobilizers) who will guide their local commun
 ity through the five-phases of the CTC process.\n\nTraining Information\nT
 he training is held over a 3-week period and is interactive. It is deliver
 ed in a series of 2-hour modules: one module takes place the prior to the 
 main training week\, and a final 2-hour module is scheduled during the thi
 rd week. During the main week of training\, participants will be in a virt
 ual classroom for two\, 2-hour modules on most days and will have work to 
 do individually when they are not logged on.\n\nThis training experience i
 ncludes presentations\, breakout room conversations\, large group discussi
 ons\, and a small group assignment where participants will be required to 
 coordinate a meeting for their team (outside of the whole group classroom 
 time). To participate fully\, trainees are required to access to the inter
 net via a computer/Laptop (not a mobile device or tablet) with a camera an
 d microphone.\nTraining Objectives\nAs a result of participating in this t
 raining\, participants will be able to:\n\n 	Explain the CTC process and i
 ts scientific foundation\n 	Describe the role of the CTC Plus Facilitator\
 n 	Understand and be able to apply the effective teaching methods with adu
 lt audiences used in Communities That Care\n 	Demonstrate ability to facil
 itate CTC Plus web-based workshops\, using facilitator guides and on-line 
 web presentations\n 	Describe CTC Plus\, the content of all the workshops 
 and how they fit together to support CTC implementation\n 	Understand how 
 to use the Milestones and Benchmarks to track progress\n 	Be able to respo
 nd to hard questions about CTC and the CTC process\n 	Assess and practice 
 process skills used by CTC Facilitators\n 	Plan next steps for CTC in thei
 r community\n\nThe CTC Training of Facilitators is designed to jumpstart t
 he local implementation of CTC. After completing the training\, CTC Facili
 tators should expect to continue implementation support with a certified C
