SUMMARY:Communities That Care Training of Facilitators
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT\nThis live\, virtual training series is
  designed for identified Communities That Care Facilitators (i.e.\, someti
 mes called CTC Coordinators or CTC Mobilizers) who will guide their local 
 community through the five-phases of the CTC process.\n\nTraining Informat
 ion\nThe training is held over a 3-week period and is interactive. It is d
 elivered in a series of 2-hour modules: one module takes place the prior t
 o the main training week\, and a final 2-hour module is scheduled during t
 he third week. During the main week of training\, participants will be in 
 a virtual classroom for two\, 2-hour modules on most days and will have wo
 rk to do individually when they are not logged on.\n\nThis training experi
 ence includes presentations\, breakout room conversations\, large group di
 scussions\, and a small group assignment where participants will be requir
 ed to coordinate a meeting for their team (outside of the whole group clas
 sroom time). To participate fully\, trainees are required to access to the
  internet via a computer/Laptop (not a mobile device or tablet) with a cam
 era and microphone.\nTraining Objectives\nAs a result of participating in 
 this training\, participants will be able to:\n\n 	Explain the CTC process
  and its scientific foundation\n 	Describe the role of the CTC Plus Facili
 tator\n 	Understand and be able to apply the effective teaching methods wi
 th adult audiences used in Communities That Care\n 	Demonstrate ability to
  facilitate CTC Plus web-based workshops\, using facilitator guides and on
 -line web presentations\n 	Describe CTC Plus\, the content of all the work
 shops and how they fit together to support CTC implementation\n 	Understan
 d how to use the Milestones and Benchmarks to track progress\n 	Be able to
  respond to hard questions about CTC and the CTC process\n 	Assess and pra
 ctice process skills used by CTC Facilitators\n 	Plan next steps for CTC i
 n their community\n\nThe CTC Training of Facilitators is designed to jumps
 tart the local implementation of CTC. After completing the training\, CTC 
 Facilitators should expect to continue implementation support with a certi
